The concept is built around two contrasting characters: Cheers, the collaborator and creative spark, and Smith, the focused planner who gets things done. These two characters have been at the forefront of the design process, with choices being made to suit both their needs. Open, social areas and kitchen hubs encourage connection and idea sharing, while quieter studios and meeting pods provide the setting for productivity and “deep work”. The result is a place where freelancers, startups and established businesses alike can work in a way that suits them best.

As work continues at pace on site, Stopford Park is quickly taking shape as one of Stockport town centre’s most exciting and ambitious regeneration projects. With 442 new homes and a vibrant new ‘Art Park’, Cheers & Smith will sit at the heart of a creative, mixed-use neighbourhood, built around community.
