The new masterplan will breathe new life into the area, creating better connectivity between Hemel Hempstead and Boxmoor. A key part of the plan will be to deliver much-needed new homes for the Hemel as well as a better arrival experience at the station including improved parking.
A landmark development for Hemel Hempstead, Station Gateway will transform the way Hemel Hempstead and Boxmoor interlink. The project will be a catalyst for growth kick starting Hemel’s next chapter and creating new homes.
A new chapter in Hemel Hempstead’s regeneration, Station Gateway is far more than just improving the user experience of the station’s busy train station. As a key commuter town for London and Milton Keynes, Hemel’s housing stock is always in high demand, as a result, this regeneration project aims to ease pressures on demand creating a new community by bringing forward 122 new high-quality multi-generational homes which will be available to rent. It will also improve connectivity between Hemel Hempstead’s town centre, the station and Boxmoor as well as creating a new multi-storey car park with 480 spaces, perfect for the town’s commuters.
